बहुत समय पहले की बात है, एक विशाल और समृद्ध राज्य था — सौरगढ़। इस राज्य पर शासन करते थे राजा समर्थ सेन, जो न केवल वीर और नीतिज्ञ थे, बल्कि अपने प्रजाजनों के लिए एक पिता के समान थे। उनकी पत्नी रानी वसुंधरा थी — सुंदर, सहृदय और धार्मिक।
👑 राज्य की समृद्धि और एक अधूरी इच्छा
राज्य में कोई दुख नहीं था। हर व्यक्ति प्रसन्न था, खेतों में अनाज लहराता था, मंदिरों में भजन गूंजते थे, लेकिन राजा और रानी का जीवन अधूरा था। उनके पास संतान नहीं थी।
रानी हर अमावस्या को उपवास करतीं, और हर पूर्णिमा को मंदिर जातीं। उन्होंने अपने आँगन में एक तुलसी का पौधा लगाया, और उसे अपनी संतान मानकर पालन किया।
रहस्यमयी स्वप्न
एक रात रानी को सपना आया — “एक दिव्य साधु, सफेद वस्त्रों में, जंगल के बीचों-बीच खड़े होकर कह रहे थे: ‘वक्त आ गया है, विश्वास की परीक्षा पूरी हुई।’”
सुबह रानी ने राजा से आग्रह किया कि वे उस साधु की खोज करें। राजा ने सेना तैयार की लेकिन रानी ने कहा, “यह खोज मन की है, तलवार की नहीं।” वे दोनों भेष बदलकर अकेले निकल पड़े।
महर्षि अत्रि का वरदान
तीन दिन की यात्रा के बाद, वे एक झरने के पास पहुँचे। वहां एक दिव्य तेजस्वी ऋषि तप में लीन थे। रानी ने प्रणाम किया। महर्षि अत्रि ने अपनी आँखें खोलीं और कहा:
“हे रानी, तुम्हारी तपस्या सफल हुई। यह लो ‘विश्वासवटी’ का पौधा। इसे अपने महल में लगाओ। प्रेम, श्रद्धा और भक्ति से इसकी देखभाल करो। इसका हर पत्ता, हर शाखा तुम्हारी इच्छाओं को पूरा करेगा।”
🌱 पौधे का चमत्कार
रानी ने पौधे को महल के सबसे शांत स्थान पर लगाया। वह हर सुबह भोर में उठकर उस पौधे को जल देतीं, गंगाजल छिड़कतीं, और ‘ॐ नमः शिवाय’ का जाप करतीं।
दिन बीतते गए, पौधा बढ़ता गया। और एक दिन, जब पौधे में पहली बार फूल खिले — रानी बेहोश हो गईं। राजवैद्य ने जांच की और कहा — “महारानी माँ बनने वाली हैं।”
पूरे राज्य में उत्सव
सौरगढ़ की गलियों में ढोल बजने लगे। हर गांव में दीप जलाए गए। गरीबों को भोजन मिला, मंदिरों में घंटियाँ बजीं। राजा ने घोषणा की कि बच्चे के जन्म तक हर महीने एक दिन ‘विश्वास दिवस’ मनाया जाएगा।
गर्भवती रानी के सपने
गर्भावस्था के दौरान रानी को कई दिव्य स्वप्न आने लगे। एक स्वप्न में उन्हें दिखा कि उनका बच्चा केवल राज्य के लिए नहीं, बल्कि पूरे संसार के लिए महत्वपूर्ण होगा।
राजा और रानी ने उस दिन तय किया कि अगर पुत्र हो, तो उसका नाम होगा “धैर्य” और पुत्री हो, तो “श्रद्धा”।

English Version: Raja Rani Story – Part 1
Once upon a time, in the glorious kingdom of Saurgarh, lived a noble king Samarth Sen and his queen Vasundhara. The kingdom was rich, happy, and prosperous — but the royal couple had no child.
🌌 A Silent Prayer
Though the people rejoiced in abundance, the queen’s heart was heavy. She fasted during every new moon and prayed during every full moon, asking the divine for a child.
One night, she had a dream — a divine sage in white robes stood in the middle of a forest and said, “Your time has come. Faith has been tested. Blessings await.”
🏞️ The Journey of Faith
The next morning, the king and queen disguised themselves and left for the forest. After days of walking, they reached a waterfall. There stood Rishi Atri, glowing with divine energy.
He handed the queen a magical sapling called Vishwasvati and said:
“Water it with love, grow it with prayer, and nourish it with faith. When it blooms, your heart’s desire shall come true.”
🌿 Blossoming Blessings
The queen planted Vishwasvati in the royal garden. She watered it with holy water, chanted mantras daily, and sat with the plant like it was her child.
Weeks passed, and one day the plant blossomed. As the first flower bloomed, the queen fainted.
The royal physician confirmed — the queen was pregnant.
🪔 Kingdom Celebrates
The kingdom erupted in joy. Music filled the streets, temples echoed with bhajans, and children danced in the courtyards.
The king announced the creation of “Faith Day” to be celebrated monthly till the royal child was born.
